This week we are introducing a simple eyelet stitch.
For this square you will want to cast on 23 stitches.
Row 1: knit
Row 2: purl
Row 3: Knit 2, [yfwd (bring yarn forward), knit 2 together, k4] 3 times, yfwd (bring yarn forward), knit 2 together, k1
Row 4-8: starting with a purl row, work 5 rows in stocking stitch (purl row, knit row)
Row 9: Knit 5, [yfwd (bring yarn forward), knit 2 together, k4] 3 times.
Row 10-14: Work 5 rows in stocking stitch, starting with a purl row.
Repeat rows 3-14 once more.
Repeat row 3 once more.
Work 2 rows more in stocking stitch (Your square should measure approx 10cm. Add or reduce how many stocking stitch rows you finish with as needed to make sure your square measure 10cm.)
Cast off.
