Knit a pair of classic baby booties in DK yarn, with this knitting pattern, designed and written by Lois Hobden for Dot & Lizzi.
 
The pattern is designed to knit each bootie in one piece, knitting back and forth and then stitching together down the back and centrte of the sole. There are two options for ties included. 
 
This knitting pattern includes 4 sizes, 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months and 9-12 months and is colour coded for easy reading.
 
This classic baby booties knitting pattern uses DK yarn. I recommend the Sirdar Snuggly Cashmere Merino Silk, but you can use other types of DK yarn that has a tension of 22stitches by 28 rows for a 10cm square. I recommend knitting up a tension square before starting to ensure the best result. Incorrect tension will result in your finished booties coming out a slightly different size.
